Ann (Bobrowski) Urbanowicz, 92, of New Britain, Ct. and formerly South Lyme, Ct. died peacefully at her home, Saturday September 29, 2012. Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Victor Urbanowicz. She was born in New Britain, Ct. and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Kazimiera (Podhajski) Bobrowski. Ann worked for Reflexite and Landers, Frary and Clark for several years. She loved her cat, Baby who currently misses her. A daily event in Ann’s life was faithfully watching the Mass on TV and talking to her friends Jennie and Stella. She will be remembered for her creativity in the kitchen, her lively intelligence, sense of humor and her love and generosity to her family.
Ann is survived by her two sons, Victor Urbanowicz, Jr. and his wife Janet of St. Paul, MN and their children, Matthew Urbanowicz and his wife Erin and their children, Audrey and Liam of Minnetonka, MN and Rachel Urbanowicz of Hopkins, MN, Mark Urbanowicz and his wife Martha of Cobalt, Ct. and their children Gail Dempsey and her husband Jeff and their son Wyatt of Middletown, MD and Jason Urbanowicz and his wife Rhonda and their son Mark of Longwood, FLA, her daughter, Joanne Marshall of Burlington, Ct. and her sons, Bryan Marshall of New Hartford, Ct and Kenneth Marshall.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Ann’s life Saturday October 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Road, New Britain, Ct. A private committal service and burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain, Ct. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ORTV, 15 Peach Orchard Road, Prospect, Ct. 06712-1052. The Paul A.
