Mary T. Viola, 80, of New Britain, Ct. died Sunday August 11, 2013 at the Hospital of Central Ct. @ New Britain General. Mary was born in New Britain, Ct. and was the daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette (Canale) Nista. She worked as the office manager for the family business, Scope Industries for several years. Mary was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, New Britain, Ct.
Mary is survived by her son, Albert Viola, Jr. of New Britain, Ct., her daughter, Laura Reinwald and her husband John of Plainville, Ct., her two brothers, Samuel Nista of New Britain, Ct. and Richard Nista of Berlin, Ct., her two sisters, Eleanor D’Amico and her husband Louis of Middletown, Ct. and Christina Cozzolongo of New Britain, Ct., her two grandchildren, Ryan Daoust and his girlfriend Desiree Masson and Adam Reinwald and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Albert Viola, Sr., her three brothers, Rocco, Angelo and John Nista.
Funeral rites for Mary will be held Wednesday August 14, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker / Farmingdale Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, Ct. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley Street, New Britain, Ct. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley Street, New Britain, Ct. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker / Farmingdale Funeral Home, Tuesday from 4 p.m. -7 p.m. Direction to funeral home: I-84 East or West – Exit 37 (Fienemann Road) right off exit – one mile down on right.
