Obituary for Mary J. Fiumara

Mary J. Fiumara, 92, of New Britain, Ct. died Friday January 24, 2014 at the Hospital of Central Ct. @ New Britain General. Mary was born in Lowell, MA and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Clara (Klepaz) Myslywicz. She worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Stanley Works for eleven years. Mary loved to cook for her family, making ceramics, crocheting and being a Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and was always smiling. She was also a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, New Britain, Ct.
Mary is survived by her son, Joseph F. Fiumara, Jr. and his wife Mary of Newington, Ct., her brother, John Myslywicz, her sister, Clara Myslywicz Giantonio, her three brothers-in-law, Joseph Giantonio, Vincent Sipala, Sr. and Victor Fiumara, her three sisters-in-law, Helen Myslywicz, Nellie Sipala and Lynn Fiumara, her two grandchildren, Beverly-Anne Fiumara Cattanach and her husband Donald of Manchester, Ct. and Joseph James Fiumara and his wife Rita of Plainville, Ct., her great grandson, Brent Alexander Cattanach and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph F. Fiumara, Sr. and her sister Sophie Myslywicz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mary, Tuesday January 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 655 East Street, New Britain, Ct. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Garden Mausoleum, St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley Street, New Britain, Ct. There are no calling hours.
