Condolence: To Nicole & Family,

I was truly shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Leo. I went to high school with his daughter, Nicole who I played in band and jazz band with. I can vividly recall seeing Leo at almost every performance whether it was a parade or concert. He always had this wide smile that just beamed...he was always so proud of Nicole and her accomplishments and performances. He seemed like he loved life and was incredibly warm hearted. As a matter of fact, my father (Todd) went to school with his wife, Suzy and also new Leo when they lived in New Britain. He recalled Leo as "a guy you never wanted to pick a fight with" because of his muscular appearance. He explained that looks were deceiving with Leo because he was such a kind and laid back person who everyone just loved.

He will be truly missed and my family and I send our deepest condolences to Nicole, Suzy and the entire family.
