Teresa M. Valenti, 90, of Meriden, CT. formerly of New Britain, CT. died Tuesday December 16, 2014 at MidState Medical Center, Meriden, CT. Teresa was born in Cresson, PA. and was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rose (Adams) Billetdeaux. She worked as a Nurse ¬¬¬at Cresson T.B. Sanitarium. Teresa was a member of St. Ann’s Church, New Britain, CT. and enjoyed to cook spaghetti every Sunday for her family.
Teresa is survived by her five sons – Francis Valenti and his wife Jeanne of Plainville, CT, James Valenti of Meriden, CT., John Valenti and his wife Rose of LaVerkin, Utah, Joseph Valenti and his wife Linda of Coventry, CT. and Michael Valenti and his wife Shawna of Meriden, CT., her daughter Roseann Haggerty and her husband Pat of Meriden, CT., twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Teresa was predeceased by her husband Mario Valenti and son Robert Valenti, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Rites for Teresa will be held Monday December 22, 2014 at 8:30a.m. with the procession departing at 9a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St. New Britain, CT. Committal Service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St. New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
