Sebastian R. Intagliata, 89 of New Britain, CT., died, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor, New Britain. Sebby was born in New Britain, CT and was the son of the late Carmelo and Concetta (Giarratana) Intagliata. He worked as a tool and die maker for Colt Firearms for several years. Sebby enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes and boats. He was also a champion roller skater.
Sebby is survived by his two sons, John Intagliata of Marine, CA., and Daniel Intagliata of Port Richey, Fla., his daughter Elizabeth Ann Kays of Port Richey, Fla., his two brothers Paul Intagliata of New Britain, CT., and Peter Intagliata of Old Lyme, CT., four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sebby was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Vincent, his sister Millie Giarratana and his brother Sam Intagliata.
Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT., Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4 – 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 East or West – Exit 37 (Fienemann Road) right off exit – one mile down on right. Cremation will follow the wake. A Celebration of Mr. Intagliata’s life will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain, CT.
