Helen Esberg, 99, of New Britain, CT., passed away peacefully on Friday April 8, 2016 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at New Britain, CT. A lifelong resident, Helen is survived by her beloved son Jim Esberg, granddaughters Deborah Kennedy and Sheila Esberg, grandson Paul Esberg, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Helen was predeceased by her husband Fillmore Esberg, son Fillmore Esberg Jr., granddaughter Phyllis Payne, her three sisters, Marie Oskinis, Alfreda Kurn and Christine Bogdan.

Funeral rites for Helen will be held Wednesday April 13, 2016 with the procession departing at 9:15a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 655 East St. New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St. New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
