Daniel Perry, 93, of New Britain, CT. died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at The Hospital of Central CT @NBG. Daniel was born in New Bedford, MA., and was the son of the late John and Wilhelmina (Duarte) Perry. Daniel served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He worked at The Stanley Works in New Britain, CT until his retirement.
Daniel is survived by his three sons Daniel Perry of Storrs, CT., Manuel Perry and his wife Maria of Norfolk, VA., Jon Perry and is wife Lisa of New Britain, CT., his four daughters Tina Perry of New Britain, CT., Patrice Fennell and her husband Ben of TN., Tammi Perry of Cleveland, OH., and Dawn Newton of New Britain, CT. his brother Anthony Perry, his special companion Dorothy Sullivan and numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daniel was predeceased by his wife Margaret Perry, his two brothers Edwin Perry, Arthur Perry, his four sisters Alice Perry, Catherine Lopes, Christine Perry and Josephine Ramos, and his grandson Daniel Esito Perry.
Funeral Rites for Mr. Perry will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
