Hedwig “Sally” Tanguay, 92, of New Britain, CT died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at home. Sally was born in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late John and Dominika Parzych. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, New Britain and its Ladies Guild.
Sally is survived by her son Brian Tanguay of New Britain, CT her three grandchildren Michelle, Katharine and Michael and several nieces and nephews. Sally was predeceased by her husband Emedy Tanguay, Jr. former building inspector for the City of New Britain, her daughter Gail (Tanguay) Carter, her two brothers John and Stanley Parzych and her sister Mary Baranowski.
A Celebration of Sally’s life will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St, New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT.
