Diane H. (Habershon) Dorval, 84, of Bristol, CT died Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General, New Britain. Diane was born in Meriden, CT and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Agnes (Wagner) Habershon. She worked as a school nurse for the Bristol Heath Department and worked as a hospital nurse and a nursing home nurse. Diane graduated from Hartford Hospital Nursing School. She was a cub scout den mother for her sons, Paul and Michael. Diane enjoyed knitting, crafts, camping and time at the beach in Maine.
Diane is survived by her sons – Paul A. Dorval and his wife Yvonne of Plainville, CT and Michael A. Dorval of Bristol, CT, her godchild and niece - Jessica Walsh and her husband Justin and family. Diane was predeceased by her husband - Donald G. Dorval and her step sister – Beth Andrews.
A Celebration of Diane’s life will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 65 N. Main St., Wallingford, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden, CT. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Egan School of Nursing & Health Studies, 1073 North Benson Rd., Fairfield, CT 06824. Service of comfort provided by the Paul A.
