Bronislawa Bilinski, of New Britain, CT entered into eternal rest unexpectedly, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General at the age of 92. Bronislawa was born in Bartkowska, Poland on July 26, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Adam and Agnieszka (Hadam) Rebizak. She worked as a machinist for Stanley Works for several years and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, New Britain, CT. Bronislawa, the youngest of ten children was taken in 1939 during the war from her home in Poland and worked in Frankfurt, Germany as a forced laborer.
Bronislawa is survived by her three daughters, Jeannine Boyington and her husband Russell of Plantsville, CT, Christine Ferrigno and her husband Joseph of California and Anne Bastek and her companion Stanley Jastrzemski both of New Britain, CT., her eight grandchildren - Allison, Suzanne, James, Brandon, Lauren, Kristofer, Ryan and Sarah, (who helped take care of her), and her great grandson Zander and her special niece Katherine Zapatka and family. Bronislawa was predeceased by her husband Jan Bilinski, her nine siblings and her son-in-law David Uryase.
Funeral Rites for Bronislawa will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 8 a.m. with the procession departing at 8:30 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right.
