Kathleen Edith Wicks, 75, of Middletown, CT and formerly of Laconia, NH, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Wadsworth Glen Health Center in Middletown, CT after a prolonged illness. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry H. Wicks. She is survived by her four children, Dellas W. Lambert II, Michele MacEachern, Kenneth M. Riggott II, and Rhonda Riggott Stevens as well as six grandchildren, Dellas C. Lambert II, Andrea MacEachern, Amanda MacEachern, Kenneth M. Riggott III, Katie Stevens and Nicky Stevens as well as four great grandchildren, Alexis, Alexander, Isabella and Madeline. She is also survived by her siblings, Roland Hill, Arline Pratt, Joanne Jenkins, and Charles Hill, as well as many nieces and nephews. Known to all as “Kathy” and “Grammy” she was fun loving, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a great listener. In her youth, she loved dancing, skating and skiing. Later in her life, Kathy was an active volunteer in the community for many years and gave generously of her time and talents. She was a gifted artist and crafter. Her hobbies included reading, fishing and going to tag sales. Kathleen was most happy just relaxing and talking over a cup of coffee with family and friends. She loved her pups, Bo, Buttons and Mr. Bear who filled her life with great joy. A memorial service will be held for her at the Church of the Holy Trinity, located at 381 Main St., Middletown, CT 06457 on March 31st, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
