Fikre Asfaw, 62, of New Britain, CT died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Grandview Rehab & Healthcare Center, New Britain, CT. Fikre was born on April 17, 1954 and was the son of the late Kassaye and Shewanesesh (Goshu) Asfaw. He received his bachelor degree in Mathematics at Addis Ababa University and received his Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Central Connecticut State University as well as his bachelor of Arts in Physics.
Fikre is survived by his two brothers Betremariam Asfaw and Laikemariam Asfaw of Ethiopia, his nieces and nephews Tsedale, Seife, Teferi, and Selamawit Hailemariam, Dawit, Daniel and Nahom Sahlemariam and many caring friends. Fikre was predeceased by his three brothers – Hailemariam Asfaw, Amdemariam Asfaw and Sahemariam Asfaw, and his sister Tsigemariam Asfaw.
