Darnell Brown, 53, of North Plainfield, New Jersey, formerly of New Britain, CT, died Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Somerville, New Jersey. He was employed by Verizon Telecom Inc. for 20 years as a Customer Sales Representative. Darnell was very knowledgeable of the Verizon Products and Services; a great dancer and all his friends called him "Big D".
Darnell is survived by his beloved family; mother, Addie L. Brown; father, Herbert Brown; daughter, Shakieta D. Wadsworth; son, Darnell O.Brown; sister, Doris A. Bowden; brother, Herbert Brown; niece, Arcola R. Bowden and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Celebration for Darnell will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at The Pentecostals of New Britain, 517 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, Ct. with the Bishop Dale I. Shaw, Pastor, presiding. Committal service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley Street, New Britain, Ct.
