Obituary for David M. Lore

David M. Lore, 71, of New Britain, CT husband of Carol (Caron) Lore of thirty years died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut @ New Britain General. David was born in New Britain, CT and was the son of the late Epifanio (Mike) and Theresa (Marino) Lore. He was a longtime resident of New Britain and was a graduate of Berlin High School class of 1964 and A.I. Prince Tech. David was known as the “Bus Driver” of New Britain Transportation of Berlin.
David is survived by his beloved wife Carol Lore of New Britain, CT, his daughter Justine and her fiancé Janusz Michael Saba of Meriden, CT, his sister Florence Roy and her husband Andrew of West Hartford, CT, his sister-in-law Diane (Ciula) Lore of Lake Forest, NC, his two brother-in-law’s Peter and Roger Caron and his mother-in-law Jane Caron all of Bristol, CT, his niece Ann-Marie (Roy) Porter, his four nephews Christopher Roy, Travis and Brent Lore, Jason Caron and his great-nieces and nephews and cousins. David will be missed very much by co-workers at NBT, St. Ann Church of New Britain, his neighbor Fred and his class reunion committee. David was predeceased by his brother Robert Lore.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private, there are no calling hours. Service of comfort provided by the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations for St. Ann Church Passion Play, which David acted in for many years.
