Joseph P. Devlin, 60, of New Britain, CT died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut @ New Britain General. Joe was born in Belfast, North Ireland on December 2, 1956 and was the son of Margaret “Molly” (Rooney) Devlin of Dallas, TX and the late Joseph Devlin. Joe worked at Lux, Bond & Green for several years.
In addition to Joe’s mother Molly, he is survived by his wife Sally Devlin and stepson Jeremy Jackson both of New Britain, CT, his three brothers Martin Devlin (Theresa Burhoe) and daughter Olivia, Hugh Devlin and his wife Patricia and family, Denis Devlin and Nina Fox and family, his sister Pauline and her husband Harry Miller and family and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in the U.S. and Belfast, North Ireland.
A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Britain Emergency Medical Service, P.O. Box 2018, New Britain, CT. 06051.
