Lois M. Sheltry, 81, of New Britain, CT died Monday, June 19, 2017 at home. Lois was born in Bath, New Hampshire and was the daughter of the late Dexter and Hazel (Tewksbury) Whitcomb. She worked as a file clerk for Fafnir Bearing for several years.
Lois is survived by her two daughters Gwendolyn Whitcomb and Gayle Sheltry her son Sean Sheltry and his wife Rosalind. Her two granddaughters Destiny Parrish and Mackenzie Parrish, her grandson Mitchell Sheltry and great grandson Jack Yeamans III. A special niece Glenda Hofman and her family. A special nephew Jason Whitcomb and numerous cousins. A special man in her life of thirty-five years Valmore Melanfant and his entire family. Thank you for the many years of joy that you have given our mom. Numerous friends that have enriched her life. We will all miss her.
A Celebration of Lois’ life will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
