Wladyslawa Urbanowicz, 84, of Farmington, CT died Friday, October 13, 2017 at UCONN Health, Farmington, CT. Wladyslawa was born in Domuraty, Poland and was the daughter of the late Franciszek and Weronika (Kisluk) Bielski. She worked as a teacher for Augustow. Wladyslawa was a member of Holy Cross Church, New Britain, CT for several years.
Wladyslawa is survived by her two sons, Leszek Urbanowicz and his wife Elzbieta and Janusz Urbanowicz all of Farmington, CT, her three grandchildren, Gabriela, Alexandra and Marcelina, her nephew, Jaroslaw Kalinowsky of Avon, CT. Wladyslawa was predeceased by her husband Henry Karr.
Funeral rites for Wladslawa will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9:00 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, CT. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Farmington Avenue, New Britain, CT. Burial will be private in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home Tuesday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 East or West – Exit 37 (Fienemann Road) right off exit – one mile on right.
