Maria Younespoor, 91, of Farmington, Ct., wife of the late Abrahim Ebrahimi, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at home. Maria was born in Orumieh, Iran and was the daughter of the late Ebraham and Anna (Tomo) Younespoor. She was a member of St. Thomas Assyrian Church of the East, New Britain, Ct. for several years.
Maria is survived by her beloved family, her two sons, Isaac Ebrahimi and his wife, Freda, of New Britain and Charles Ebrahimi and his wife, Lena of Farmington, CT, her two daughters, Frieda Ebrahimi of Iran and Agnes Younan of Turlock, CA, her two brothers, Hermez Younespoor and his wife, Regina of Iran and Yonatan Ashornia and his wife, Juliette, and her sister Roza Maiel and her husband Alex, all of San Jose, CA, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Maria was predeceased by her son-in-law, Yotam Harton and three sisters.
Funeral rites for Maria will be held Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Assyrian Church of the East, 120 Cabot Street, New Britain, Ct. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Thomas Assyrian Cemetery, Barbour Rd, New Britain, Ct. There are no calling hours. Service of comfort provided by the Paul A.
