Richard V. “Rich TCB” Labbe, 49, of Berlin, CT passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at home. Rich was born in New Britain, CT and lived in Berlin, CT and graduated from Berlin High School. He was a wonderful son, brother, brother-in-law, stepson, friend and animal lover. Rich was smart, funny, helpful and seriously handsome. He could do just about anything and was a great help to his single mother. Rich was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved riding his Harley Davidson and was also a passionate Elvis Presley fan.
Rich is survived by his mother Kathleen “Mama” Baich and her husband Rick of Kensington, CT, his brother Jason Labbe and his wife Kim of Middletown, CT, very dear friends Sherry Anderson and Jenna Derosier, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He also leaves his beloved dog Frankie and cat Alley. Rich will truly be missed by all. His memory lives on in our hearts and he will never be forgotten. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Rich’s life Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Directions to funeral home – I-84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right. A time of remembrance will be held Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Berlin Animal Control, P.O.
