Lynn Dale (Giove) Goodrich, 65, of Berlin, CT passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 surrounded by her family. Lynn was born in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Joseph, Sr. and Betty (Boyko) Giove. She retired from the State of CT DMHAS as a counselor and loved working with her clients. Lynn enjoyed going to the casino to play bingo. She was an avid NY Yankees fan and was a member of Holy Cross Fife and Drum Corps.
Lynn is survived by her husband Robert Goodrich of Baltimore, MD, her brother Joseph Giove and his wife Shirley of Kensington, CT, her sister-in-law Barbara Giove of New Britain, CT, her brother-in-law Herbert Goodrich of Baltimore, MD, her two nephews Robert and Paul Giove of Berlin, CT, her two nieces Angela Giove of New Britain, CT and Adrienne of Maryland, her special cousins and caretakers Sandy Arena of Bristol, CT and Carol Speck of Wethersfield, CT and several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Lynn was predeceased by her brother Kevin Giove.
Funeral rites for Lynn will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
