It is with profound sadness the passing of our dear mom Pauline M. Fama, 94, of Berlin, CT. who passed peacefully Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Bel Air Manor of Newington. Pauline was born in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary (Rapponotti) Pierlioni. She worked at North and Judd for more than forty years. Pauline was a devout parishioner at St. Ann's and was involved in many activities. She was a great bowler and played in a league until she was 88. Pauline enjoyed time in Florida, cruises and casino trips and loved to play cards. She was always hard working and doing for others.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Joan DiMinno and her husband Richard of Berlin, CT her son Henry Lenkiewicz, Jr and his wife Christine of Southington, CT, her sister Irene Greco of Middletown, CT, her grandson Kevin DiMinno and his wife Sheila, her three granddaughters Stacey Palumbo and her husband Jeffery, Lesley Lenkiewicz and husband Keith Bernard, Wendey Morales and her husband Hector. Her ten great grandchildren Ashley Vitalli, David Vitalli, Tyler Palumbo, Grace DiMinno, Annie DiMinno, Gianna Solimeno, Nicholas and Sarah Morales, Madison and Emily Bernard. She also leaves many special nieces and nephews.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband Henry Lenkiewicz, Sr, Joseph Fama, her sister lena Paldino, and brothers Silvio and Joseph Pierlioni and a great granddaughter Mary Rose DiMinno. The family would like to thank all the special Aides and Nurses at Bel Air Manor for their kindness and love.
Funeral rites for Pauline will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 with the procession departing at 9:15 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764, Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT. followed by a Liturgy of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain, CT. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Garden Mausoleum, St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
