Isabel R. Landrau, 82, of New Britain, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. Isabel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised in Juana Diaz and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Eusebia (Montes) Rodriquez. She lived in New Britain for over thirty years. Isabel loved cooking, knitting, reading and joking with her grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A devoted mother and grandmother and great grandmother.
Isabel is survived by her three children Carmen Landrau-Rivera, Antonio Landrau all of New Britain, CT and Janette Conchola of Kansas, her siblings Sara, Ralphy, Joe, Wilberto all of New Britain, CT, Danny of Farmington, CT, Norberto of South Carolina, Gladys of New York, Hilda of Florida, and Felix of Ponce, PR, her four grandchildren Carlos Rivera, Jr and Anthony Rivera both of New Britain and Christina and Mikey of Kansas and several great grandchildren.
Funeral rites for Isabel will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 544 Main St., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right.
