William H. Pearson, 80, of New Britain, CT died Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. William was born in Jacksonville, NC and was the son of the late James and Sadie (Perkins) Pearson. He retired from Corbin & Russwin after thirty-five years as a manufacturing superintendent. William served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
William is survived by his beloved wife Marguerite (Tucker) Pearson of New Britain, CT, his two step-sons, Myron McLeod of New Britain, CT and Jerome McLeod of Deltona, FL, his nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his three sisters Jane Keller, Dolores Curry and Sadie Nichols and his brother James Pearson.
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Pearson will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 45 Daly Ave., New Britain, CT with the Rev. Dr. John W. Walker, Pastor, presiding. Burial with full military honors rendered by the United States Air Force will be in the Veterans Section of Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. The American flag will be presented to Mr. Pearson’s wife, Marguerite.
