Obituary for Yaghob Yousefzadeh

Yaghob Yousefzadeh, 88, of New Britain, CT passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General surrounded by his loving family. Yaghob was born in a small village called Kosi in Urmyeh northwest of Iran. He was the son of late Benyamin and Narges Yousefzadeh. Yaghob was loved by many friends and family around the world, where ever he was there was a laughter, love and fun, anywhere he traveled he made friends for life. He moved from Iran in 2000 to Vienna, Austria and made it to USA in 2002 for the dream of a better life for his wife and his only son Emil. He had the love of outdoors, hunting, fishing, nature, and had the greatest sense of humor no one could imagine, and where he was, there was laughter. Yaghob was a true Christian believer and a member of St. Thomas Assyrian Church of East as well as the Active member of the Assyrian National Association of New Britain, CT. He lived a full happy life with no regrets with all his family surrounding him till his last breath. He will be truly missed but never forgotten!
Yaghob is survived by his lovely wife Joen, his three daughters Agnes (Narge) Pireh and her husband Edwin both of New Britain, CT, his daughter Elsie and her husband Hormoz Ohanes of Urmyeh, Iran, Nansi Ackling and her husband Steve of Sydney, Australia, his son Emil and his wife Susanna Yousefzadeh, Yaghob also left behind two brothers Yousef of Florida and Johni of Kensington, CT, his sister Nanajan of Cromwell, CT with their family, his three granddaughters Ilona engaged to Matthew Karwowski of Berlin, CT, and Edessa engaged to Tom Skye Jenks of Temple, NH, and Emily and his grandson Samuel and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Rites for Yaghob will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 am. At St. Thomas Assyrian Church of East, 120 Cabot St., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Thomas Assyrian Cemetery, Barbour Rd., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the St. Thomas Assyrian Church of East, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Professional services of Comfort and Compassion provided by the Paul A.
