On Tuesday, April 10, 2018 Lolita “Enid” Walker, 74, of New Britain, CT was called home and now rests in the arms of our Living God. Lolita was born on January 16, 1944 to the late Felix and Elenora (Phillips) Jelpher. She was a resident in New Britain for the past 25+ years. Mrs. Lolita, as her coworker at Walmart referred to her, retired in 2009. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church Usher Board. She enjoyed attending church activities, shopping, hosting family gatherings & knitting. On June 6, 1981, she was united in matrimony to John A. Walker. Their union was blessed with five children. She was devoted to her family & lovingly referred to as ma & nana. Lolita devoted her life to the Lord, her faith & her family. To know her was to know the love of Jesus, for she walked in Christ Path without wavering. Through her Grace and beauty, her kindness & unconditional love, she enriched the lives of all who knew her. She was a gift, a blessing and a light. Forever in our hearts she will shine so bright. We are truly grateful for her beautiful legacy.
Rest in Peace our amazing Angel!
