Conrad J. Oliva, 63, of New Britain, CT died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at home. Conrad was born in New Britain, CT and was the son of the late Salvatore and Concetta (Ciaffaglione) Oliva. He worked as a pharmacy technician at UCONN Health Center for nineteen years. Conrad was a member of St. Ann Church, New Britain, and was a member of Sacred Heart Society of St. Ann’s. He was a graduate of Tunxis Community College. Conrad loved classic cars and enjoyed going to the handicapped swimming club at the YMCA.
Conrad is survived by his loving sister and caregiver – Carmela Oliva of New Britain, CT and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The Oliva family extends a special note of gratitude to Conrad’s CNA Dorothy for her kind care and compassion.
Funeral rites for Conrad will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 with the procession departing at 10:15 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. followed by a Liturgy of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain, CT. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Garden Mausoleum, St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
