Giatina B. “Tina” Haddad, of New Britain, CT died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut @ New Britain General. Tina was born in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Carlo and Concetta (Caccamo) Berardinelli. She worked for many years as an inspector at Stanley Works. Tina was the most caring giving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend that anyone could ask for. She gave everything she had for those she loved. We will miss Tina dearly but we know part of her will always be with us.
Tina is survived by her children Ron and Libby Garuti of New Hartford, CT, Paula Haddad-Salce and Vic Salce of Berlin, CT, Frederick and Trish Haddad of Plainville, CT, Dominic and Tamara Gambino of Minnesota, Jeff and Linda Gambino of Newington, CT, Carla and Phil Tougas of Wethersfield, CT,
her eleven grandchildren - Jennifer, Jaclyn, Monica, Dayna, Nicholas, Sienna, Michael, Garrett, Mia, Olivia and Michael. Her two great grandsons Jake and Domenic and many nieces, nephews and close friends. The family especially wants to thank the doctors and nurses of New Britain General N-5 unit especially Dr. Ciccone, Dr. St. Pierre and Dr. Parsons. Nurses Dayna, Linda, Chelsea, Kiera, Jake, Eva, Denise, Justine, Margaret, Izabella and Slyvia. Also the staff in the ICU- special thanks to Dr. Churney. Tina was predeceased by her husband Frederick P. Haddad, Sr., her siblings Carlo, Concetta (Caccamo) Berardinelli Lina, John, Yolanda, Pat, Pina and Mary.
Funeral rites for “Tina” will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9:00 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd), right off exit – one mile down on right.
