Kurt M. Talbot, 52, of New Britain, CT passed away suddenly Saturday, May 5, 2018 at home. Kurt was born June 21, 1965 and was the son of Norman R. Talbot of North Carolina and Nancy Blake of Plainville, CT. He resided in Berlin, CT through his school years and graduated from Berlin High School in 1983. Kurt played drums in the high school band. He had a love of the wilderness and nature. Kurt loved hiking, hunting and rock climbing. He also loved drawing portraits of band members from Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd, two of his favorite bands.
Kurt is survived by his two loving sons – Justin Talbot and Jeremy Talbot both of Meriden, CT, his brother Corey and his wife Donna and son Tristan of Hebron, CT as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
A Celebration of Kurt’s life will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I=84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienmann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right.
