Andrew J. Pilewski, 62, of New Britain, CT passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at the VA Hospital in West Haven, CT after a brief illness. Andrew was born in New Britain, CT and was the son of the late Edward and Cecilia (Konik) Pilewski of New Britain. Andrew was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School. He served his country honorably in the US Navy. Andrew was also employed by the Electric Boat in Groton, CT.

Andrew is survived by his nephew Daniel E. Pilewski of Berlin, CT and his two nieces Jennifer Hollister and Jocelyn Hollister of Danbury, CT. He was predeceased by his brothers Edward Pilewski and Daniel Pilewski. Graveside services with Full Military Honors will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt Street, New Britain, CT. The American flag will be presented to Andrew’s nephew, Daniel. There are no calling hours. The Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, New Britain, CT has charge of arrangements.
