Antonio G. Perez, 59, of New Britain, CT. died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. Antonio was born in San Sebastian, PR and was the son of Marciana (Guzman) Perez and the late Antonio Perez Rodriguez. He worked as an engineer for thirty-five years at New Britain Heat Treating. Antonio had a kind and generous soul to all and was always there for his relatives. He enjoyed bicycling, hiking, swimming, volleyball and the beach. Antonio was a very talented handyman.
In addition to his mother Marciana, Antonio is survived by his two brothers Raul Perez and his wife Ivette Perez, Angel Perez and his ex-wife Sharon Glasgow, his three sisters Irma Perez Zitzkat, Lucelenia Fuentes and her husband Luis and Millie Rodriquez and her husband Mariano, his uncle Ramon Guzman, his nieces and nephews Francisco Cartagena, Sonny Cartagena, Alex Perez, Frankie Perez, Jocelyn Zitzkat, David Fuentes, Javier Fuentes, Luz Perez, Aubree Perez, Ayden Perez, Ammiel Perez. Antonio was predeceased by his stepfather Juan Baez and his brother Francisco Perez.
Funeral rites for Antonio will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
