Obituary for Pauline B. Buinickas (Brochu)

Pauline B. Buinickas, 84, of New Britain, CT died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Cessena Care, New Britain. Pauline was born in Danbury, CT and was the daughter of the late Adelard and Marie Anne (Langlois) Brochu. She worked for Stanley Works as a timekeeper for several years. Pauline was a member of St. Joseph Church, New Britain. She loved listening to French Canadian music and fiddlers and dancing along.
Pauline is survived by her three daughters – Sandra Koslosky and her husband John of New Britain, CT, Shelley Clark and her husband Craig of Bristol, CT and Stacey Murphy of New Britain, CT, her son – Donald Buinickas and his wife Melissa of New Britain, CT, her two brothers Richard Brochu and his wife Christine of Kensington, CT, Norman Brochu and his wife Joanne of New Britain, CT, and her sister Irene Stepensky and her husband John of Berlin, CT, her eight grandchildren Bryce Buinickas, Kelly Murphy, Brock Clark, Matthew Murphy, Benjamin Buinickas, Peyton Clark, Paul Murphy and Andrew Murphy. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by her granddaughter Kristin Koslosky and her niece Linda Stepensky Campochiaro.
Funeral Rites for Pauline will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 11 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. at St. Maurice Church, 100 Wightman Rd., New Britain, CT. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Garden Mausoleum, St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 east or west exit 37 (Fienemann Rd), right off exit – one mile down on right.
