Jerry Kalinowski, 56, of Avon, CT died Friday, July 6, 2018 at home. Jerry was born in Kailinowo, Poland and was the son of the late Stanislaw and Irena (Bielski) Kalinowski. He worked as an operator for several years. Jerry was a member of Holy Cross Church, New Britain, CT.
Jerry is survived by his two cousins – Leszek and Janusz Urbanowicz both of Farmington, CT. Jerry was predeceased by his sister Grace Trantolo.
Funeral Rites for Jerry will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Cremation will follow the funeral mass. Burial will be private in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right.
