Edmund W. Kalinowski, 72, of Newington, CT passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. Edmund was born on September 19, 1945 in Hartford, CT and was the son of the late Edmund and Eugenia (Maciora) Kalinowski. He worked for several years at CL&P as a draftsman. Edmund graduated from Newington High School and Porter’s School of Design. What “Buddy” enjoyed most was hiking and biking in the forest up North. Edmund was always there to lend a helping hand.
Edmund is survived by his sister - Joan Riccardi of New Britain, CT and his three nephews - Michael and Matthew Riccardi both of Newington, CT and Marc Riccardi of New Britain, CT and extended family.
A Celebration of Ed’s life will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
