Condolence: I taught with Betty at Edgewood School. As I lived in Forestville, we often shared rides. Betty was upbeat and full of fun, and she was so proud of her family. My sympathy to you all.

Condolence: Mrs. Perrotta was my 2nd grade teacher at Patterson Elementary School. She was strict but always kind and loving. My favorite memory is of her reading Charlotte’s Web to our class- a little bit each day. How I loved that story! When Charlotte died at the end of the book, I was almost inconsolable. Though embarrassed to cry at school, I couldn’t stop the tears. I’ll never forget her gentle words and kindness toward me that day. Requiescat in Pace Mrs Perrotta.

Condolence: It was my great fortune to share good times and wonderful music with the Perrotta family growing up and as an adult, Such a beautiful family and so close and loving! Mrs. Perrotta shared many hours with my Mom at OM show rehearsals supporting their daughter’s and their grandchildren’s performances. Their critiques made for some much improved and memorable performances! And we were always welcome in their home and to share in all the fun and happiness of their warm and loving family. As both of my parents have passed on, I share your sorrow and understand how it feels to be the “next” generation and to carry on the family traditions. One of the most comforting things that I’ve learned is that our parents are never far away. They are there in the mirror, in the faces of our siblings and children, and always in our hearts. Sending you all much love and prayers for peace and comfort.
