Jewel Clark, 77 of New Britain, Ct. passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 1, 1941 in Ailey Ga., the daughter of the late William Clark and Ruby McLeod. Jewel was employed at the Hospital for Special Care, New Britain as a Nurses Aide for 41 years and also worked for the Cheshire Public Schools. She was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church, New Britain, Ct.

Jewel is survived by her children, Connie Clark, Ricky Clark (Penny), Ronnie Clark, Felicia Villard (Gilbert), Joann Clark and Dawn Clark; five sisters and one brother; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jewel was predeceased by her daughter Yolanda Marie Clark and her brother, Eugene Clark.

Homegoing Celebration for Jewel will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, Ct. Committal service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley Street, New Britain, Ct. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
