I met Joey at my cousin's wedding in 1982 wherein he was the best man. He was 26 and dashing. We danced together and within a couple of dates, I fell for him. In my eyes, Joey was amazing. He was talented having remodeled his apartment with a hand-crafted built in entertainment center that was well before its time. Lobsters and french fries was one of our favorite meals together. He loved his Datsun 280z and indulged my younger brother in his wish to drive faster than 100mph on a CT highway. We spent more than two years together. During that time, I admired and enjoyed Joey's love for life and adventurous nature.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe‘s passing, we worked together for many years Weiner only shared a professional relationship but also a personal one! I love Joe he was unique, funny, caring, and always had great stories to share. Although we missed connected over the last year He was never far from that I will miss him as I’m sure anyone who knew Joe would. I send my condolences to his family for whom he spoke of with great admiration!!
