I am so sorry and will miss Joanie. We use to sit at Blackpoint and talk in the morning. She was on the early shift at the beach when Suzie would come later. To all Joanie's family, We were so very saddened and heartsick to learn of Joanie's passing while we are on vacation in Florida. We met Joan at Black Point, a place she loved so much. Joanie had a heart of gold, a sincere and caring nature and a beautiful smile ! She adored and cherished all of her grandchildren and they adored her !She is now in heaven with her beloved Jeffrey and Dad. She will be missed greatly at Black Point Beach.May God bless you all.

There was never anyone like Joanne. She gave everything she had selflessly. She was my role model and everything that is good in life. When my husband died her cousin, she made sure I still lived and thrived. We had a connection that I did not have with anyone else. Like we were in each others hearts and minds.
