Gerald was a kind and beautiful guy. Always upbeat and laughing. Telling stories and helping others in need. We met at The Open Hearth many years ago and we connected like brothers. He always made me laugh with the stories that he came up with. This has been such a shock to hear so late about his passing. My heart is very heavy with sadness that he is gone and I will never see my friend again. To the family, I give my condolences and prayers. He will be truly missed. Rest In Peace Big "G".

My condolences and sympathy go out to Gerald's Family. He will be missed by many. I remember Playing with my cousins at my grandma Scheu's house when we were all very young, those were some of the best times of my life. And the summer I stayed with uncle Ed and Aunt June and hung out with my cousins Ruth and Gerald we had an amazing summer that year, I'll always treasure those times. He was also an awesome drummer, he played the drums for me when I asked. Gerald was always a happy and funny person. And would help anyone who needed it. I will miss you cousin , love you and God speed

My heart goes out to Gerald's family and friends at this difficult time. I knew Gerald from when he would stop by our office (New Britain Medical Supplies) with Joe. He had smile on his face and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. We will miss his visits.

My condolenses to Geralds family and to Cathy Madley and Ryan.... I have known Gerald a few years thru Cathy and was sad to hear of his passing...he was a great guy and would do anything for anybody... he will be missed by many...R.I.P. my friend
