Jeffrey J.  Israel Sr.
Jeffrey J. Israel, Sr., 50, of New Britain, CT. died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. Jeffrey was born in New Britain and was the son of Robert Israel of New Britain and the late Mary Lou (Bailey) Neal. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Richards Corp. for several years. Jeffrey served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ, New Britain. Jeffrey loved his trucks, enjoyed to cook for his family and friends and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan enjoying several Super Bowl championships.
Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia G. (Henri) Israel, his two sons Jeffrey J. Israel, Jr., and his fiancée Amanda Santos, Anthony Stevenson-Israel, two daughters, Elyse Stevenson-Israel and her fiancée Daidree Pearson and Jazmin Israel all of New Britain, his brother Robert Israel, Jr., and his fiancée Denise Gainey of Winsted, CT., his sister Sheila Neal of New Britain, CT., his seven grandchildren, Anthony, Daevion, Alaysia, Zaiden, Amir, Jeffrey III, and Baby Israel, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Gail Henri of New Britain, his Aunt and Uncle Linda and Robert Pauloz of Kensington, “Great Grammy” and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker/Farmingdale Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Friday, October 3, 2014 from 5 – 7 p.m. Directions to funeral home I-84 East or West – exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right. Cremation will follow the wake.
