Olga Yousef, 86, of Newington, CT., passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 due to injuries sustained from a fall. Olga was born March 25, 1929 in Salamas, Iran daughter of the late Baba Orshani and Arshalous Nazarian. Olga worked hard all her life; she was a skilled dress maker and personal seamstress for royalty in Iran. Even though Olga and her husband did not have children of their own, they adopted two beautiful children. She loved her family and friends. Olga will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and kind heart.
Olga leaves behind her loving daughter, Helga Yousef , her sister, Almas Toma both of Newington, CT and her family, and two brothers Shamoon Ourshano of Northhridge, CA and his family and Polous Orshani of Northridge, CA and his family, many nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by her husband Yousef Yousef, her son Henry Yousef and her sister Nina Gilan. In lieu of flowers, friends may honor her memory by making a donation to a charity of their choice.
Funeral Rites for Olga will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Assyrian Church of the East, 120 Cabot St., New Britain, CT. Committal Service and final resting place will be in St. Thomas Assyrian Cemetery, Barbour Rd., New Britain, CT. There are no calling hours. The Paul A.
