Patricia A. (Gagliardi) Zenobi, 91, of Farmington, CT. passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016, the birthday of her late husband, at Autumn Lake Health Care at New Britain, CT. Patricia was the most cherished wife of George R. Zenobi. She was born in New Britain, CT on October 11, 1924, daughter of the late Angelo and Ernestine (Mastrianni) Gagliardi. Patricia attended New Britain Public Schools, graduating from New Britain High School in 1941. She was employed at New Britain Machine, leaving to become a full-time housewife and mom. Patricia resumed her career later in life as a secretary, first at St. Matthew’s Lutheran School, and she retired from The New Britain Board of Education.
Patricia is survived by her three sons; Jack of Farmington, CT Gary of Glastonbury, CT and Mark of New Britain, CT and eight beloved grandchildren; Jennifer Sexton (Jeffrey), Andrea, Brian (Jeannine), Kevin, Christina, Jessica, Olivia and Emma. She also leaves her sister Adeline Sanzo (Peter) of New Britain and San Diego, and a sister-in-law Marjorie Spitzel of California as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her sister Mildred, and her brother-in-law Richard Yanke. The Zenobi family extends a special note of thanks and gratitude to the staff at Autumn Lake for their compassionate care of our mother.
Funeral Rites for Mrs. Zenobi will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 with the procession departing at 9:15 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain, CT. Committal Service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, Wednesday from 8:15 a.m – 9:15 a.m. Directions to funeral home - I-84 east or west – Exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit - one mile down on right.
