Nancy A. Niedzwiecki (Cashman) 80, of Farmington, CT passed away after a long illness Monday, February 1, 2016 at Gaylord Hospital Wallingford, CT. Nancy was the loving wife of Daniel J. Niedzwiecki and a loving mother to her sons. Nancy was born on December 22, 1935 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She lived most of her life in Farmington, CT. Nancy graduated from Bulkeley High School. She worked for Helco in Hartford, Sears, and Winslow Mfg. Co. in customer service. Nancy retired from New Britain Public Library as a periodical librarian. Nancy was always very supportive of everyone and loved family gatherings. She especially loved being with her grandchildren. Nancy loved gardening, cooking, baking, sketching, fine arts, traveling, knitting and classical music.
Nancy is survived by her husband Daniel J. Niedzwiecki of Farmington, CT, her three sons Daniel S. Niedzwiecki and his wife Hallie, Todd and Kenneth Niedzwiecki, two sisters Carol and her husband Thomas Aylward of Glastonbury, CT and Janet and her husband Jerry Pichette of Westport, MA, two brothers Gilbert and his wife Louise Cashman of Plattsburgh NY and Alan and his wife Diane Cashman of Manchester, CT, her grandchildren, William and Emily Niedzwiecki, Robert and Nora Niedzwiecki. Nancy is predeceased by her brother Arthur Cashman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Nancy’s Life Friday February 5, 2016 at 10a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 110 Main St. Farmington, CT. Committal Service and final resting place will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St. New Britain, CT. There are no calling hours. The Paul A.
