Davis Willis Jr., 74, of New Britain, CT., died Friday, July 15, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. Davis was born in Washington, GA. and was the son of the late Davis and Inez (Richardson-Alston) Willis. He worked as a factory worker at Fafnir Bearing for several years.
Davis is survived by the beloved woman of his children Jacqueline Davis, his three sons, Michael Davis of Greenville, MS., Timothy D. Willis of West Hartford, CT., and Daniel E. Willis of New Britain, CT. his daughter Shekita Davis of West Hartford, CT., his two brothers Joe Willis and his wife Ruby of McDonough, GA., and Rudolph Willis and his sister Melba Willis both of Washington, GA., his two grandchildren Tyrique D. Willis and Kymiyah R. Willis and his nephew Kenny D. Willis. Davis was predeceased by his sister Geraldine Willis.
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Willis will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. with the Rev. Gervais Barger, presiding. Committal service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
