Ronald J. Guenther, Sr., 82, of Bristol, CT., died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at home. Ronald was born in New Britain, CT and was the son of the late George and Lillian (Gordon) Guenther.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Nora (Donati) Guenther, his four sons, Ronald Guenther Jr and his wife Joanne, Robert Guenther and his wife Cheryl and Michael Guenther all of Bristol, CT and John Guenther and his wife Rachel of Southington, CT. his sister Judy Donati of Kensington, CT. his brother Harry Guenther of Meriden, CT his sister- in-law Helen Guenther, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by his two brothers Merwin Guenther and George Guenther, and his sister Beverly Guenther.
Relatives are invited to attend a graveside service with full military honors Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. The American flag will be presented to Ronald’s wife, Nora. There are no calling hours. The Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT has charge of arrangements.
