Michael J. Ciscar, Sr., 62, of New Britain, CT died Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. Michael was born in New Britain and was the son of Pura (Escriva) Ciscar of New Britain and the late Miguel Ciscar. He was a lifelong resident of New Britain and was an avid reader, Civil War buff, and a diehard Yankees fan. Michael was a member of Club 48 in New Britain for most of his life. He was a frequent donator to the VFW and the Civil War Trust, as well as several foundations for diabetes and alzheimers.
In addition to his mother Michael is survived by his son Michael Joseph Ciscar, Jr and his wife Emily, of Newington, CT. his sister Shirley Repass and her husband Don of New Britain, CT., as well as his nephew Michael Ciscar and his wife Edesa and their two girls, Sarah and Arbella, of Kensington, CT. in addition to many cousins and close friends.
A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 544 Main St., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The Paul A.
