Frances (Radziszewski) Rouillard, the widow of Joseph A. Rouillard, died peacefully on Friday, Feb.3, 2017 at the age of 93. Frances was born in New Britain, CT and was the daughter of the late Walter and Stephania (Zmitruk) Radziszewski. She was a longtime resident of New Britain prior to moving to Plainville. Frances was an avid gardener and loved to share her fruits and vegetables with friends and family. She also took great joy in making her Babka, pierogies and golabki for everyone.
Frances is survived by her three sons: Joseph Rouillard of East Haven, CT, Richard Rouillard and his wife Judy of Lyme, CT, Walter Rouillard and his wife Kathy of Burlington, CT. and daughter Deborah Hardy and her husband John of Plainville, CT. She also leaves her seven grandchildren: Sherry, Dan, Mike, Danny, Christina, Scott and Todd and seven great-grandchildren: Mike, Ashley, Jacob, Nahla, Brielle, Dean and Fallon. Frances was predeceased by her daughter Lorraine Burnett and daughter-in-law Rosalie Rouillard.
A Celebration of Frances’ Life will take place Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad St., Plainville, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the church Friday from 10 a.m.-11a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. The Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT has charge of arrangements.
