Roy J. Thibeault, 68, of New Britain, CT died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut @ New Britain General. Roy was the son of the late Donat and Ruth (Malachowski) Thibeault. He worked as an electrician at Stanley Works for several years.
Roy is survived by his beloved wife Lorraine Thibeault of New Britain, CT, his two daughters, his brother Craig Thibeault and his wife Caroline of Bristol, CT., his sister Shirley Laird and her husband Gene of Bristol, CT., his sister-in-laws Chris Moravec and her husband Gerald of Austin, TX., and Cheryl Drezek and her husband David of Orange, CT., and Carolyn Carfi Esherick his brother-in-law Jack Carfi and his wife Sharon of South Windsor, CT as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his two brothers, David and Brian Thibeault
Funeral rites for Roy will be held Friday, August 4, 2017 with the funeral procession departing at 9:15 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT followed by a Liturgy of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Church, 396 Church St., New Britain, CT. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. The American flag will be presented to Roy’s wife Lorraine.
