Obituary for Ruth M. Dow

Ruth M. Dow, 83, of New Britain, CT passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Autumn Lake Healtcare of New Britain. Ruth was born in Cooper, Maine February 17, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Winslow and Evelyn (Leighton) Allen. She resided in New Britain, CT and worked at D.S.O. Manufacturing Company for forty years. Her joy was her family and they will miss her dearly.
Ruth leaves behind her husband of fifty-four years, Earl Dow Jr., of New Britain, CT, and was a loving mother of three daughters, Lisa Lindstrand, of Kirkville NY, Yvonne Rondini, of Marlborough, CT, and Jennifer Dow, of New Britain, CT, her sister Grace Curtis of Cooper, Maine. nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. Ruth predeceased by her brother Winslow Allen, Jr.
Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I-84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right.
