Evangelist Ada Mae Thomas, 74, of New Britain, CT entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 14, 2018. Ada was born on January 15, 1944 to the late Willie B. and Rosa Mae Thomas of Montezuma, Ga. Evangelist Thomas was a member of Walk in the Light Church. She was a faithful servant of the Lord for many years.
Ada leaves behind two sons - Reginald (Brenda), Dennis (Betty) Thomas both of New Britain, CT Britain, CT, and Rochester Avery of Hartford, CT, her three sisters Rose Tyler of Bloomfield, CT, Bonnie (Earl) Calloway and Polly (John) Reeves, her five brothers – Tommie Thomas of Manchester, CT, Charlie Thomas of Macon, GA, Cornelius (Joyce) Thomas of Warner Robin, GA, Gary Thomas and Henry Thomas of Snellville, GA; her God given son; two grandsons - Brandon Thomas and Anthony Booker and one great grandson - Jaden Booker and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives. Ada was predeceased by her three children Mario, John Edward and James Edward Thomas and two sisters and seven brothers.
Homecoming Celebration for Ada will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 7 pm from Bethesda Apostolic Church, 249 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT with the Bishop Dale I. Shaw, Pastor, presiding. Relatives and friends may call at Bethesda Apostolic Church, Friday from 6 p.m to 7 p.m. Additional funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church. Committal service and final resting place will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Montezuma, GA. Service of Comfort and Compassion provided by the Paul A.
